This release upgrades version R2.4.2-C2.6

Issues with upgrade

We use the composer to upgrade Magento versions and external modules. One of the vendors changed the vendor name of the modules they build. We do not use the modules from Vertex Inc. For that reason, we remove them from the configuration. We added the vendor name and the modules with the current names.

You can find for each module what it depends on and what it possibly replaces by:

composer2 show --all vertexinc/product-magento-module

New in this version

Since this release upgrades the former version, it contains all updates from that version. We did not release the earlier version (Release-2.4.2-p1-c2.6) because before its release date, Magento came with new versions (2.4.2-p2 and 2.4.3).

The updates for this version concern all changes made in version Release 2.4.2-p1-2.6 and include the security patches in the p2-version of the Magento system.

Code on a branch

The code for this version is available on the m2.4.2-p2 branch. We have tagged the version(s) on this branch as Release Candidates: RC242-P2-xx where xx denotes the release candidate version.

Ultimately, the tested version will be merged to the main branch and tagged with a release tag: R2.4.2-C2.7).
